Ultimately, the responsibility for knowing and understanding the media that children are exposed to belongs to you as the parent — not Disney Channel, and not anyone else. Yes, I made the mistake of thinking a Sunday morning cartoon on the Disney channel would be safe for any child.
My bad. We cannot control everything our children watch, but we can give them tools to know how to watch them. The only difference is that today we have more ways to transfer information, faster for good and for bad. Surely your daughter is old enough to know what underwear is. Cut back and Phineas is still peeking! Beating Marvel to the punch by a year, Phineas and Ferb popularised the Disney tradition of mid and post-credits sequences way before Nick Fury teased the Avengers Initiative.
Often featuring an extended version of one of the many brilliant original songs featured throughout the show, the post-credits stinger would occasionally call back to one of the fleeting jokes of the episode. During the episode "Wizard of Odd," which sees Phineas, Ferb, and the gang transported to a fantasy world inspired by The Wizard of Oz , the song "Tree Related Wish" features a glimpse at a bear, squatting behind a tree and ostentatiously reading a newspaper.

Add your rating. Parents say Kids say Adult Written by cityy January 12, Educational TV rant. This is honestly one of the only shows I'm okay with letting my 4-year-old daughter watch.
She loves it and so does the rest of my family. So what? She knows what's right and wrong. And it isn't educational? What ever happened to just being a kid? Lighten up. Phineas and Ferb might not teach your child how read or count or speak Spanish that's your job as a parent anyway, not the televisions but at least it teaches them to use their imagination and have fun.
Most of the educational shows these days creep me right out with all of their blank stares into the TV and their baby voices shouldn't they be teaching them to at least talk normal? Or the one that spent the entire half hour explaining how to eat spaghetti like they're totally incompetent. So educational. Kids definitely couldn't live without such useless crap filling up their brains, right?
