When she read the story to Jack, he flashed one of his brilliant smiles. Jack likes school and he's good at it. He solves math problems faster than his friends, and he reads lots of books. Claudio and Danielle remember seeing a family therapist when Jack was sick, and their counselor was struck by how they managed to still spend time with their other kids, preventing their home from descending into total gloom, maintaining support for one another.
Asked if they have any advice for parents in a similar situation, Claudio and Danielle point out that every case is different. Be as happy as you can with the kids. There are these different waves.
